Silhouette Soft uses absorbable PLLA sutures with bidirectional cones positioned beneath the skin. The cones are designed to provide tissue support and repositioning, while the absorbable material is associated with a gradual collagen response.
It may be considered for selected adults concerned about cheek position, jawline definition, lower-face laxity, nasolabial folds or marionette-area heaviness. It is not a surgical facelift, and suitability cannot be determined by age alone.

Placement vectors and entry points are planned individually. Local anaesthetic is used for the procedure.
The absorbable suspension sutures are placed beneath the skin and the tissue is carefully repositioned.
Aftercare and follow-up are important. Swelling, bruising, tenderness or temporary dimpling can occur.
Thread products vary by material, design and intended treatment role. The most suitable option depends on anatomy and clinical assessment.
Published reviews note that long-term evidence for absorbable facial thread lifts remains limited. A medical consultation is required to compare options for your face rather than choosing by product name alone.
Dr Yang will assess facial anatomy, explain realistic outcomes, discuss alternatives such as ultrasound or radiofrequency treatments, and review risks and recovery. Before-and-after examples may be discussed privately during consultation; they are not used here as public promotional claims.
Thread lifting is minimally invasive, but it still involves placing an implantable medical device beneath the skin. Potential adverse events include infection, pain, swelling, bruising, temporary rippling or dimpling, asymmetry, palpable thread ends, thread migration, nerve injury and allergic or material-sensitivity reactions.
Recovery varies. Manufacturer guidance notes that minor swelling, redness or bruising may occur, and aftercare restrictions may include avoiding facial massage, strenuous activity and certain dental procedures for a period advised by the doctor.
